How do I use the file sharing feature in SpeedyBackup?

To add a file or folder to your Share Folder, you must first share it from your SyncFolder.

To share files from your SyncFolder:

  1. From the Home page, click SyncFolder to open the folder where your synchronized files are located.
  2. Right click on the file or folder you would like to share, and click SpeedyBackup, then click Share.
  3. Select the Social Media account or share method you would like to share with.
  4. Insert a comment, and send.

From the Account Management SyncFolder, you can easily distribute your files or documents with friends or family.

You can also create a direct link to a file in your SyncFolder for easy sharing.

To create a share link for a file or folder:

  1. From the top of the Account Management page, select SyncFolder.
  2. Locate the file or folder you would like to share, and select the gear icon.
  3. From the drop down menu, select Share.
  4. Click Get Link.
  5. Copy and share the link provided.

You can share the contents of your SpeedyBackup SyncFolder with Twitter, FaceBook, Google+, or by email.

To share a file from your SyncFolder with Social Media:

  1. From the top of the Account Management page, select SyncFolder.
  2. Locate the file you would like to share, and select the gear icon.
  3. From the drop down menu, select View.
  4. Select the Social Media account you would like to share with.
  5. Insert a comment, and send.

Your file will now be shared through the selected Social Media channel.
