SpeedyBackup says it has expired but my subscription is still active.

If SpeedyBackup is unable to connect to servers to check that it is up to date, you may encounter an error saying your subscription has expired, or that your subscription will expire soon. In most cases this issue can be resolved by restarting your computer, which refreshes your internet connection and allows SpeedyBackup to attempt and connect again.

This license key expiry issue may be caused by your system date and time being incorrect at the time of the purchase. Please double-click on the clock in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen and make any necessary corrections. Once this is done please restart your computer.

If you have recently upgraded or renewed SpeedyBackup and now see a disclaimer telling you your program is expired you can refresh your account status.

 

Refresh your license version:

  1. Open SpeedyBackup.
  2. Click About in the top right corner.
  3. Next to your license version, click the Refresh icon (two circulating arrows)

Should you continue to experience issues please uninstall and reinstall the program completely. This should resolve the problem.
